Those of you who know me know that I've got an unhealthy obsession with powering myself via jet turbines. So every time I see something like this I'm simultaneously inspired and worried that I'll be too late to the game to be unique. Ah well, it's certainly fun to imagine.

Massive Avalanche
It's videos like this that make me want to be a ski patrol guy or something. Well, whatever position it is that gets to fire artillery at mountains and watch massive avalanches, and then get paid for it. That just doesn't seem fair.

I've seen this kind of shit in James Bond movies, but I didn't realize there were people out there crazy enough to actually do it. I should have known better than to question the limits of human craziness, particularly in regards to tall things and going fast. Check out some more of this stuff here, here and here.
